HHB is seeking a full-time Bridge Engineer focused on safeguarding the Angus L. Macdonald and

A. Murray Mac Kay Bridges. Candidates should have a strong foundation in civil engineering principles which includes technical report preparation, cost estimation, and project management. The role includes responsibilities around bridge assessment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in an office and site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering advice for bridge safety and reliability

• Develop technical work plans and project schedules

• Assess bridge conditions and recommend appropriate solutions

• Prepare technical reports and procurement documents

• Conduct site inspections and investigations as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience

• Eligible for membership with Engineers Nova Scotia

• Valid Canadian Class 5 Driver's Licence
