Lead municipal engineering inspections and service connections with Halifax Water in a full-time Engineering Approvals opportunity. Direct a technologist team supporting system extensions.
As Inspections Coordinator, you will lead Operation Technologists delivering inspections and installations for Service Connections and appurtenances. The Engineering Approvals Team supports connections to and extensions of Halifax Water Systems. This regular, non-union position requires related municipal engineering experience, supervisory capability, and civil engineering technology credentials.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Operation Technologists within the service delivery team
- Provide inspections for Service Connections and appurtenances
- Coordinate installation of Service Connections and appurtenances
- Support connections to Halifax Water Systems
- Support extensions of Halifax Water Systems
- Five years of progressively responsible municipal engineering experience
- Direct supervisory experience
- Post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Certified Engineering Technologist designation
- Valid driver's license
