Represent WORLDS® at immersive projection shows in Halifax, using customer service and communication skills during part-time evening events.
This part-time Venue Representative role supports WORLDS® shows at Discovery Centre. You will welcome guests, manage check-in, oversee event flow, and communicate with venue teams. The work requires technology comfort, reliability, leadership, and sound judgment while supporting a seamless audience experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and break down signage, tables, and merchandise displays
- Charge devices and prepare event equipment
- Greet guests, manage check-in, and answer questions
- Monitor event flow and resolve on-site issues
- Communicate concerns and feedback to operations teams
- Minimum two years of customer service or event experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort using iPhone applications, including Whats App
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Reliable transportation to Discovery Centre
