Position: Internal Audit & Corporate Finance Co
Essential Duties and responsibilities
:
Internal Audit Support:Assist the internal audit team in conducting audits and reviews of financial processes and controls.Prepare and analyze audit documentation and reports.Identify and communicate findings and recommendations for process improvements.Corporate Finance:Support the corporate finance team with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.Conduct data analysis and spreadsheet analysis to support financial decision-making.Reconciliations and Tax Compliance:Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.Assist in tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.Support the maintenance of tax records and documentation.Data Management:Collect, organize, and maintain financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.Utilize Excel and other financial software to analyze and report on financial performance.Cross-Departmental Exposure:Gain exposure to various departments and understand their financial processes and needs.Collaborate with different teams to gather information and support financial initiatives.Qualifications:
Co-op Student enrolled in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related program.Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather information and solve problems.Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.Analytical thinker and a team player.Strong Excel skills and proficiency with financial software.Ideally targeting a CPA pathWhat’s in it for you as a Student?
