Chief Financial Officer

VIDA is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to help lead the company on its path to becoming a world-class enterprise.

The Role
As CFO, you will partner with the CEO on capital allocation, investment strategy, and disciplined growth. You will build the financial foundation that enables VIDA to scale responsibly and deploy institutional capital.

You will be expected to:

Advise the CEO on capital allocation, transactions, growth strategy, portfolio optimization, and enterprise risk.

Shape VIDA’s financial strategy, capital structure, and long-term planning.

Serve as the primary financial contact for institutional investors, LPs, and equity capital partners.

Lead investor communications, fundraising initiatives, and Board-level financial presentations.

Evaluate strategic growth opportunities, acquisitions, and capital deployment decisions.

Provide financial oversight to underwriting, transaction structuring, and investment committee decisions.

Enterprise Financial Discipline
Lead enterprise-wide FP&A, budgeting, KPI design, and disciplined resource allocation.

Oversee accounting, reporting, tax, audit, and compliance across multiple entities.

Ensure reporting under IFRS/ASPE and adherence to debt covenants and partnership obligations.

Strengthen internal controls and financial systems to support scale.

Treasury, Risk & Portfolio Performance
Manage enterprise liquidity, debt facilities, refinancing initiatives, and lender relationships.

Direct interest rate risk management and capital structure optimization.

Define risk tolerance and implement monitoring systems to support disciplined decision-making.

Design reporting frameworks connecting underwriting to operational performance.

Organizational Leadership
Develop and lead a high-performing finance and investment team.

Establish performance standards grounded in analytical rigor and accountability.

What Y ou N eed to S ucceed in this R ole

Demonstrated leadership in high-growth, high-expectation environments where ownership and accountability are paramount.

7 + years of senior finance experience , including executive-level responsibility in complex, multi-entity environments.

C apital markets experience , including serving as a primary financial contact for institutional investors, lenders, and capital partners.

Experience driving capital structure decisions across equity, debt, and long-term financial planning, with clear outcomes.

Experience with institutional financial reporting under IFRS or ASPE, including audit and covenant environments.

Experience leading enterprise FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI systems that support strategic outcomes.

Exposure to real estate, private equity, or other investment-oriented finance platforms , with an ability to translate investment strategy into performance outcomes.
