Mortgage Agent

Advise Ontario homeowners and buyers on purchases, renewals, refinances and equity lending, and take each file from first call to funding.

• Respond to inbound enquiries and applications from , by phone and online, the same business day
• Interview clients to understand income, credit, property and goals, and collect a complete document package
• Analyse each file and use Intelli Rate to compare lenders, products and total cost — not only the rate
• Present clear options, explain the trade-offs in plain language, and prepare the required disclosure
• Submit applications to lenders, negotiate conditions, and manage the file through approval and funding
• Keep the CRM current with notes, stages and next steps on every file
• Stay in touch after funding and bring clients back at renewal, refinance or their next purchase
• Work within FSRA requirements and the brokerage's compliance, privacy and anti-money-laundering policies

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, banking or a call-centre environment
• An active FSRA Mortgage Agent Level 1 licence or higher, held in good standing
• Comfortable on the phone all day, and able to build trust quickly
• Organised with numbers and documents; able to read a credit report, pay stub and T4
• Working knowledge of residential lending — insured, conventional, alternative and private
• Confident with technology: CRM, online applications and lender portals
