Canadian US Tax Manager

Lead Canadian and US tax compliance, planning, and reporting for Armco Capital Inc. across its diversified group of companies. Collaborate with VP Taxation on cross-border matters.

The Tax Manager proactively manages tax functions for Armoyan group companies, operations, and investments. This position covers tax filings, audits, provisions, instalments, and research. It also supports informed decisions through analysis of facts, alternatives, deals, and investments.

• Prepare or review Canadian and foreign tax compliance filings
• Coordinate audits and reviews with taxation authorities
• Prepare tax provisions and IFRS supporting working papers
• Manage instalment payments and prepare tax estimates
• Research positions and optimize current and future taxes payable

• Post-secondary accounting education with CPA designation
• Completion of CICA in-depth tax course
• Minimum four-plus years specializing in tax
• Strong organization, prioritization, self-direction, and deadline management
• Excellent communication, accuracy, detail, and software proficiency
