In this permanent position, you will coordinate efforts for an integrated emergency preparedness program, ensuring compliance with accreditation and legislative standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing emergency plans, conducting training sessions, and collaborating with various teams. You'll also oversee the implementation of continuity planning, honing skills in leadership and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans and procedures
• Coordinate education and training sessions on emergency response
• Manage emergency exercise programs like HSEEP
• Foster intergovernmental relationships for effective planning
• Evaluate strategies for continuous improvement in preparedness
Requirements:
• University degree in Emergency/Disaster Management
• Three years of related experience in emergency or business continuity
• CEM or AEM certification or commitment to obtain
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
