Wellington Advocacy seeks an experienced public affairs professional for its Ontario Practice. Reporting to the Ontario Vice Presidents, you will advise partners and represent the firm at high levels of government. Your expertise will help clients navigate policy challenges and engage effectively with governmental stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate business development initiatives
• Provide strategic direction to clients for government engagement
• Develop and produce government relations plans and proposals
• Conduct thorough research on various sector issues
• Build productive relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in political studies or related field
• Minimum 7 years in government relations or public affairs
• Established connections with officials in key ministries
• Strong understanding of provincial decision-making processes
• Excellent interpersonal and public presentation skills
