We are looking for a talented colleague to lead our Pharmacy Operations by providing an exceptional shopping experience for Pharmacy customers.

What you’ll do
  • Supervise Pharmacy staff and manage hiring, performance, and schedules.
  • Ensure the financial and operational success of the Pharmacy department.
  • Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution of the Pharmacy to the Grocery Store.
  • Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally.
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy.
  • Ensure Pharmacy Operations follow OCP and company regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Provide on‑going training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues.
  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
  • Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction.
  • Administer vaccinations and other activities as legislated by the Pharmacist Scope of Practice Program.
  • Provide pharmaceutical professional services such as medication reviews, follow‑ups and minor ailment prescribing.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail Pharmacy environment.
  • Injection certification and CPR certification.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and coach others.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a keen sense of professionalism.
  • Proven ability to build the business using community‑based marketing strategies.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
  • Strong personal computing skills (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word) and working knowledge of the Health Watch Pharmacy computer system.
