The Continuing Care Assistant will focus on enhancing residents' quality of life by assisting with hygiene, meals, and mobility. You will also engage with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and monitor progress, all while ensuring a compassionate environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily hygiene and care needs
• Provide nutritional support during mealtime
• Accurately document resident care and changes
• Collaborate on care plans with team members
• Aid in resident leisure activities and light housekeeping
Requirements:
• Completion of CCA program or equivalent
• Registered with the CCA registry in Nova Scotia
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Flexible availability for various shifts
• Experience in senior living or long-term care beneficial
