Take your expertise to the next level at Nova Scotia Health as a Full-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. This multi-site role involves performing specialized ultrasound procedures and providing patient care across key locations.
This position reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and plays a critical role in the department’s operations. You will perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures at facilities including the QEII Health Sciences Centre and Bayer’s Lake Community Outpatient Clinic. Flexibility is essential as travel between these sites is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures
• Ensure proper application of ultrasound techniques
• Collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging Team
• Maintain patient care standards during procedures
• Travel to multi-site locations as needed
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• NSCMIRTP licensure required
• Current CPR Certification
• Experience in ultrasound preferred
• Multilingual skills, especially French, are an asset
