Part-Time Counsellor II

Enhance mental health support as a Counsellor II with TELUS Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Provide evidence-based therapy, both in person and digitally, to those facing personal and workplace challenges.

As a part-time Counsellor II, you'll utilize your clinical expertise to aid individuals dealing with stress, addictions, and relationship issues. This role emphasizes client-centered practices while maintaining clinical autonomy within a dynamic team environment. You will address complex mental health needs and engage in continuous professional growth for lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based therapy in person and online

• Support clients through EAP and Total Mental Health programs

• Employ strength-based, client-centered approaches

• Collaborate with the Regional Clinical Supervisor

• Serve as the Health & Safety Representative for the office

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field

• Five years of post-master’s clinical experience

• Current registration with the NSCCT or NSCSW

• Strong clinical competency in various therapeutic modalities

• Proficiency in electronic health records and digital tools
