Join the Clinical Services team at NOVA SCOTIA HEALTH as a Clinical Pharmacist in Victoria. Engage in direct pharmaceutical care, patient counseling, and medication monitoring for inpatients and outpatients.
This full-time role at the QEII Institute requires a graduate from a recognized School of Pharmacy and eligibility for registration with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator. Successful candidates will have at least two years of hospital experience, focusing on patient safety and education, while actively participating in clinical pharmacy research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient counseling on medication use
• Monitor medications for efficacy and safety
• Mentor pharmacy students throughout their placements
• Conduct drug utilization reviews regularly
• Liaise with community pharmacists for patient care
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized pharmacy degree program
• Registration eligibility with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
• Minimum two years of hospital experience preferred
• Strong teaching and communication skills required
• Basic Life Support certification required
Support patient care and medication management as a Clinical Pharmacist with NOVA SCOTIA HEALTH.
