Boyd’s Pharmasave on Agricola Street in Halifax is hiring a pharmacy technician for a one‑year term to cover a leave, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Candidates should be interested in community health care, gender‑affirming care, and sexual health services.
Responsibilities- Provide enhanced clinical services: collaborate with patients to offer specialized care related to sexual health (testing and treatment), gender‑affirming care (including provincial injections), opioid‑use disorders, and mental health under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Advocate for improved health care services and engage with patients to build lasting relationships.
- Work effectively in a team and collaborate with other health care professionals.
- Fully utilize the scope of a pharmacy technician.
- Licensed pharmacy technician in Nova Scotia.
- Strong commitment to patient care and advocacy for marginalized communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
