This position seeks individuals with at least five years of laboratory assistant experience within acute care settings. You're expected to facilitate training for POCT operators, troubleshoot devices, and enhance documentation practices while adhering to regulatory standards. Your proactive engagement will be key to fostering a culture of quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct POCT training sessions for staff
• Address AegisPOC inquiries via phone and email
• Oversee inventory management for POCT supplies
• Support device troubleshooting within established protocols
• Maintain accurate compliance and operational documentation
Requirements:
• Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of relevant lab experience required
• Familiarity with Accreditation Canada standards preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
