This full-time role serves as a vital link in the Provincial Preschool Autism Services team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and recent experience working with young children with autism. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, you will provide direct service and educational support in diverse locations, adapting to specific family needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver autism interventions based on care pathways
• Provide foundational education for families and caregivers
• Conduct parent coaching and training sessions
• Collaborate closely with clinical professionals
• Ensure delivery in various community and center-based settings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Child and Youth Studies
• Two years of experience with children having developmental disabilities
• Valid Nova Scotia driver's license and vehicle
• Certification in First Aid and BLS required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
