Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform over 70 nuclear medicine procedures under remote supervision. Candidates must excel in quality assurance and documentation while observing accreditation standards. The role includes on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, requiring adaptability and professionalism in stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
• Conduct over 70 diagnostic procedures and therapies
• Ensure quality assurance of equipment and documentation
• Perform complex analyses and computer manipulations
• Handle on-call procedures independently when needed
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
• CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure required
• Basic Life Support certification
• Ability to adapt in fast-changing situations
• Proficient in French is an asset
