Position Overview

As a Certified Podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work in a supportive clinical environment that allows you to practice at the top of your license with full operational backing.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat foot and ankle conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform in-office podiatric procedures as appropriate
Educate patients on preventive care and long-term foot health
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

Requirements

Current certification to practice Podiatry in Nova Scotia.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Experience in pain management strategies tailored to foot and ankle conditions.
Background in pediatrics is highly desirable for treating young patients effectively.
Ability to deliver high-quality patient care with excellent communication skills.

Experience with medication administration and data collection for clinical documentation or research purposes.
Medical office experience is advantageous for managing outpatient services efficiently.
