We are hiring a Consulting Registered Dietitian to provide expert nutrition support within a long-term care home, working one day per week. Your clinical skills will help improve quality of life for residents.
In this position, you will assess nutritional needs, document care, and craft personalized nutrition plans. You will also play a vital role in assisting residents and their families with dietary counseling and ensuring regulatory compliance in nutrition services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document resident nutrition/hydration care
• Develop and modify nutrition care plans
• Provide education for residents and staff teams
• Monitor high-risk residents’ nutrition status regularly
• Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year in Long Term Care as a Clinical Dietitian
• Registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Strong communication and time management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Point Click Care
• Willingness to adhere to COVID-19 precautions
