As Nova Scotia Health expands its Diagnostic Imaging services, we are looking for skilled Sonographers. This role involves reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging and fulfilling both routine and specialized ultrasound procedures. You will be integral to patient care and ensure that diagnostic imaging meets high standards across various community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound procedures accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate within the Diagnostic Imaging Team
• Ensure optimal patient care and safety standards
• Work flexible shifts across community-based sites
• Adapt to travel between locations as necessary
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program
• Current NSCMIRTP licensure required
• Valid CPR certification must be provided
• Enrollment in additional ultrasound credentials an advantage
• Proficiency in French considered beneficial
