Advance your career as a Full-Time Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Conduct both routine and specialized ultrasound procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care.
This permanent position reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging. As a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging Team, you will handle technical activities relevant to the department's success. Your expertise in ultrasound techniques and procedures is essential for providing accurate diagnostics to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and specialized ultrasound procedures effectively
• Ensure proper application of ultrasound techniques
• Collaborate with the Diagnostic Imaging Team
• Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting
• Travel to other sites as scheduled
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound School
• Sonography Canada certification required
• NSCMIRTP licensure is mandatory
• Current CPR Certification required
• Previous experience in sonography is preferred
