Pursue a fulfilling career with Fraser Health as a Substance Use Clinician. You will play a critical role in enhancing community mental health services focused on substance use recovery.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related areas, and two years of relevant experience. This role requires implementing effective care coordination, client assessments, and community support services. Working within a trauma-informed framework, you will address barriers to care and facilitate comprehensive recovery strategies for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen referrals and provide initial client assessments
• Conduct comprehensive intake interviews and evaluations
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
• Create and maintain personalized treatment plans
• Ensure accurate documentation of client care and progress
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Two years of related experience in mental health services
• Valid BC Driver’s License and vehicle access
• Understanding of substance use and recovery concepts
• Skilled in communication and relationship-building
