As the Mental Wellness and Addictions Coordinator, you will develop and oversee individualized wellness strategies, ensuring each client receives tailored support based on the medicine wheel approach. Your focus will be on empowering clients through culturally-based interventions and close collaboration with MNFC services. Effective engagement and positive client relationships are paramount in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interview and assess clients to create tailored plans
• Document client progress and maintain up-to-date records
• Deliver wellness services aligned with Indigenous practices
• Facilitate group sessions and provide therapy
• Collaborate with community coordinators for comprehensive support
Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in related fields preferred
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural practices and mental health
• Experience managing client data and documentation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Background check required for vulnerable populations
