Temporary MRI Technologist

Position: Temporary Full-Time MRI Technologist Role
Join the Medical Imaging team at Hennick Humber Hospital as a Temporary Full-Time MRI Technologist. This role requires skilled operation of MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

As an MRI Technologist, you will engage in rotating shifts and must be able to work independent of supervision. Your responsibilities will include scanning various patient cases and collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and documentation. The ideal candidate must also possess strong problem-solving abilities and a dedication to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI scans for multiple specialties

• Ensure patient safety through assessments and consent

• Confirm and document imaging processes for radiologist review

• Follow established MRI safety practices

• Provide excellent service and teamwork in a clinical setting

Requirements:

• CMRITO registration as MRI Technologist required

• MRT and MRI certification mandatory

• Recent clinical MRI experience essential

• Familiarity with cross-sectional anatomy

• IV certification and excellent discipline record
