On-Site Medical Communications Officer Position

Emergency Medical Care Inc. is hiring a Medical Communications Officer located in Dartmouth, NS. This full-time position requires managing emergency communication and timely responses as part of the EHS Operations team.

Reporting to the MCC Operations Lead, you'll process service requests and oversee resource dispatches. This role emphasizes the importance of operational efficiency and patient safety while adhering to established guidelines during shifts that include nights and weekends. Strong communication, quick thinking, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls

• Dispatch resources following established procedures

• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment

• Timely and accurate completion of reports

• Collaborate with team members to support patient needs

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 education

• Current First Aid/CPR certification is mandatory

• Preference for candidates with shift work experience

• Ability to complete specialized training provided by EMC

• Experience as a dispatcher in medical communications is preferred
