Lifemark Seniors Wellness seeks a Korean-speaking Physiotherapy Assistant in York, ON. This part-time role involves assisting physiotherapists in treatment plans and conducting exercise classes for seniors.

As a Permanent Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant, you will support therapies for residents in a care setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting in gait training, performing prescribed treatments, and ensuring a safe environment in gym and treatment areas. Effective communication with the supervising physiotherapist is essential for optimal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physiotherapist with treatment plans for residents

• Conduct safe and engaging exercise classes for groups

• Prepare equipment for treatments and maintain cleanliness

• Communicate changes regarding residents’ treatment to the physiotherapist

• Record treatments using the web-based system

Requirements:

• PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree

• Experience in long-term care settings preferred

• Valid Vulnerable Sector check (within 6 months)

• Tuberculin clearance (2-Step Mantoux Test)

• Fluent in Korean for effective communication
