You will report to the Program Manager within the Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services portfolio. Your responsibilities will include conducting psychosocial assessments, crisis counseling, resource counseling, and managing discharge planning. The position demands collaboration with interdisciplinary teams while supervising students and practicing in alignment with ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychosocial assessments for clients and families
• Conduct crisis and supportive counseling sessions
• Engage in discharge planning and case management
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate social work students
• Advocate for client needs within the hospital and community
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work required
• Registered or eligible with NSCSW
• Minimum two years of clinical experience
• Strong counseling and communication skills
• Knowledge of human behavior and community resources
