Part-Time Home Support Worker Carcross

Deliver personalized home care services as a part-time Home Support Worker with the Government of Yukon in Carcross, YT. Support elders and individuals in daily living activities to enhance their quality of life.

This term position offers 30 hours biweekly until April 2027. As a vital member of the Yukon Home Care Program, you will assist clients with personal care, meal prep, and respite services. You will also work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal client functioning and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support for daily living activities

• Assist with meal preparation and safety cleaning

• Offer respite care for family members of clients

• Transport clients for groceries and appointments

• Maintain a confidential and respectful environment

Requirements:

• Experience in home care or personal caregiving

• Ability to perform personal care and home management tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work with diverse cultural backgrounds

• Valid Yukon Class 5 Driver’s License required
