Full-Time Optical Associate

Enhance patient experiences at FYidoctors Halifax - Lacewood Drive as a Full-Time Optical Associate. Deliver exceptional eyewear services while thriving in a collaborative environment.

This role, available until July 30th, 2027, offers 30-40 hours of work weekly, Monday to Saturday. You'll greet patients, educate them on eyewear options, and interpret optical prescriptions provided by optometrists. Engage in frame measurements, manage appointments, and ensure billing accuracy to create a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in person and virtually

• Educate on eyewear options tailored to individual lifestyles

• Perform frame and facial measurements for optimal fit

• Interpret optical prescriptions from optometrists

• Manage appointment scheduling and billing processes

Requirements:

• Previous optical or retail experience preferred

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and technology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Adaptability to changing priorities with a growth mindset
