Position: Recreation Aide at Sienna Senior Living

In the role of Activation Aide, you'll work under the Director of Resident Programs to foster relationships and create fulfilling recreational activities tailored to individual needs. Your contributions will promote residents' health, happiness, and social interaction, making a lasting difference in their daily lives. This position requires a genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine recreational programs for residents

• Prepare daily activities fostering physical and emotional engagement

• Assess residents' interests and progress regularly

• Maintain accurate records of program participation

• Lead activities to enhance social interaction among residents

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent experience

• Experience working with seniors and understanding their motivations

• Knowledge of leisure principles

• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
