Weyburn Community Health Educator Role

Make a significant impact as a Health Educator at Weyburn Community Health Services. This full-time, temporary position centers on oral health promotion and community engagement.

As a Health Educator, you will be responsible for assessing and coordinating health education initiatives aimed at various population groups. This role requires strong interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively deliver programs. You’ll be engaged in impactful community work, promoting oral health practices and providing consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess community needs for oral health education

• Coordinate and deliver health promotion activities

• Develop engaging health presentations for various groups

• Work independently and within a health care team

• Stay updated on best practices and oral health research

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Dental Therapy program

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Ability to identify and diagnose oral health issues

• Strong knowledge of population health approaches
