You will report to the CAO in this pivotal role focused on managing health and social service programs for Taku River Tlingit citizens. Utilize your expertise to craft effective policies that embrace an Indigenous holistic approach to health. Collaborate with community leaders and staff, ensuring adherence to budgets and compliance with health directives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate comprehensive health service plans
• Ensure culturally reflective management of departmental operations
• Monitor financial performance of health programs
• Create strategic partnerships in the community
• Facilitate open communication with citizens and volunteers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
• Proven track record in management of health services
• Understanding of First Nations governance and health policies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Travel willingness and background check compliance
Manage impactful health initiatives that empower Taku River Tlingit citizens in wellness.
