The Department of Medical Physics at Nova Scotia Health seeks a Medical Physicist for their Cancer Care Program at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. You will collaborate with a diverse team to support clinical services, advance research, and offer postgraduate training. This role combines clinical responsibilities with academic contributions, including teaching opportunities in CAMPEP-accredited programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support treatment planning and quality assurance
• Develop new treatment techniques and protocols
• Supervise CAMPEP-accredited graduate programs
• Engage in research and innovation projects
• Serve as a preceptor for residency training
Requirements:
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics
• Certification by MCCPM or DA preferred
• Skills in interpersonal communication and problem-solving
• Competency in French is an asset
