Position: Full-Time Occupational Therapist at IWK Health

As part of the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Clinic team, you'll report to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services and engage in assessing children's needs.

Your role involves providing a direct or consultative approach to care planning, working closely with clients, families, and caregivers throughout the rehabilitation process. Active participation in health center initiatives will be essential as you bring best practices into your work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of therapy needs for children

• Develop and review therapy care plans

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

• Document therapy assessments and changes in care plans

• Collaborate in pediatric sub-committees and meetings

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized Occupational Therapy program

• Registered with the Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulator

• Two years of relevant clinical experience preferred

• Current BLS certification required

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented setting
