In this full-time, long-assignment role, you will report to the Program Manager and participate in a collaborative health care team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with at least 2 years of clinical experience. You will deliver personalized assessments and interventions that promote holistic functioning for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate assessment and intervention development
• Conduct therapeutic activities for diverse patient groups
• Ensure quality recreation therapy delivery
• Measure and report on therapy effectiveness
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Recreation specializing in Therapeutic Recreation
• Certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation
• Minimum 2 years relevant clinical experience
• Current BCLS certification
• Effective communication and counseling skills
