Mental Health Clinical Therapist Position

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work at IWK Health’s Intensive Outreach Service, focusing on mental health and addictions for children and youth. As a Clinical Therapist, you will implement evidence-informed interventions and collaborate with social workers, psychologists, and community navigators.
Your role includes therapy provision, case formulation, and supporting student clinical development, all while practicing within a culturally sensitive framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with team members for effective intervention
• Supervise students and in-home support workers
• Monitor implementation of measurement-based care
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in a clinical health-related field
• Two years of clinical experience focused on child and youth
• Registration with a professional regulatory body
• Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
