Your role will focus on supporting movement and function for those in need.
This permanent full-time position involves working under the supervision of experienced professionals to implement therapeutic interventions. As a critical member of the healthcare team, you'll help patients achieve better mobility while ensuring a safe environment. Background in providing care to older adults is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement interventions set by the Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist
• Promote effective movement and functionality among patients
• Maintain cleanliness of therapy equipment and areas
• Check and order necessary supplies for treatments
• Work collaboratively with other care team members
Requirements:
• Completion of Rehabilitation Assistant or related program
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
• Experience with wheelchair fitting and transfer training preferred
