This permanent position at the Halifax Infirmary offers a dynamic environment for professionals with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition. You will advise on dietary management and participate in mentoring future dietitians through the practicum program. Your expertise in enteral and parenteral nutrition will support critical healthcare initiatives, allowing you to make a real difference in your patients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert nutrition assessments and counseling sessions
• Participate in educational programs for Dietetic Students
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams for integrated patient nutrition
• Manage nutritional interventions effectively
• Support quality care initiatives in nutrition and health services
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition required
• Completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship
• Current registration or eligibility in Nova Scotia College of Dietitians
• One year of related experience preferred
• Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
