Clinical Psychologist

Position: IWK Health Clinical Psychologist Role
Pursue a fulfilling Clinical Psychologist career at IWK Health in Halifax, where you’ll focus on youth mental health through high-acuity assessments and therapies. This permanent full-time role is integral to supporting the community.

In this position, you'll provide an array of assessment and treatment options to children and adolescents with significant mental health and addiction issues. Your insights will directly contribute to the quality of care and program effectiveness through continued assessment and evaluation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enable trauma-informed care through assessment and therapy

• Develop treatment plans for youth and their families

• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team

• Apply measurement-based care methodologies

• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution

• NS Board of Examiners registration required

• Minimum one year of relevant residency

• Expertise in child/adolescent mental health

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
