As a Specialty Technologist specializing in mammography, you will perform essential diagnostic imaging procedures with the guidance of supervisory staff.

Your role includes using radiological equipment, making crucial technical decisions, and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards. The position emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate radiological equipment for mammography

• Deliver quality diagnostic imaging and assessments

• Position and prepare patients for procedures

• Conduct necessary clerical tasks for patient records

• Follow ALARA practices to minimize radiation exposure

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiological Technology school

• Current registration with NSCMIRTP and CAMRT required

• BLS certification completed in the past year

• Experience in mammography preferred

• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
