As a vital member of the Clinical Genomics Laboratory, you will leverage your skills in genomics and biomedical research to support comprehensive genetic analysis. This full-time position blends collaboration and innovation to ensure actionable results for patient care. You will have the chance to navigate clinical and research efforts while contributing positively to educational relationships with medical students and researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and interpret clinical genomics data effectively
• Develop NGS bioinformatics pipelines and tools
• Classify variant pathogenicity aligned with ACMG guidelines
• Collaborate in educational initiatives with Dalhousie University
• Maintain comprehensive data management practices
Requirements:
• MSc in genomics, bioinformatics, or genetic counselling
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in clinical genomics
• Familiarity with public data repositories and algorithms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven teamwork and problem-solving abilities
