In this permanent full-time role, you will work under the Manager Clinical Services, offering direct pharmaceutical support and engaging in clinical pharmacy research. With a focus on patient safety, you'll utilize your teaching skills and collaborate with community pharmacists, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient counseling and medication management
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and education sessions
• Mentor pharmacy students in clinical settings
• Liaise with Community Pharmacists for optimal care
• Participate in clinical research projects
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Eligible for registration with Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator
• Minimum 2 years of related hospital pharmacy experience
• BLS certification required
• Strong communication and critical appraisal skills
