In this position, you will focus on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals.
Your role is vital to helping clients achieve independence and well-being through respectful engagement and support. Ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support with ADLs and iADLs in home settings
• Administer medications under healthcare professionals' guidance
• Assist clients with grooming, dressing, and bathing
• Record patients’ vital signs accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with families and health care team members
Requirements:
• CCA certificate or working towards it in Nova Scotia
• CPR and First Aid certificates
• Clear Criminal Record Check required
• Valid Canadian driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)
