Drive HR success at in Halifax, NS, as a Human Resources Generalist. This position will engage you in a dynamic environment focusing on employee relations and workforce support.
As an integral part of our team, your role will be to deliver full-cycle HR support in a high-turnover logistics warehouse. You will manage employee inquiries, drive recruitment efforts, and ensure compliance with local labor laws while focusing on employee engagement and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary contact for employee concerns and conflicts
• Manage recruitment processes for various warehouse positions
• Oversee compliance with OHSA and Human Rights Code
• Facilitate training and development programs for staff
• Support payroll data validation and benefit inquiries
Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience as an HR generalist
• Degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Strong understanding of employment legislation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is preferred
