Build practical Human Resources experience with BDO through HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and flexible Canada-wide work arrangements. Support employees and candidates through people-focused programs.
This eight-month full-time Co-op or Intern term is designed for students pursuing a Human Resources degree or diploma. You will learn through workshops involving Data Analytics, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Learning, Organizational Development, and Benefits teams. The role emphasizes HR Operations and Talent Acquisition while developing client service, communication, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft employee lifecycle letters, including offers and transfers
- Prepare employment verification letters for employees
- Conduct firmwide orientation sessions for new employees
- Attend campus events recruiting students to BDO
- Answer employee questions about processes and policies
- Currently pursuing a Human Resources degree or diploma
- Available full-time for an eight-month Co-op or Intern term
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgement
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
