The Digital Project Manager provides clients and colleagues with a proactive, strategic, measurable, and organized approach to holistic marketing strategies and product implementation. This role combines project management, business analysis, and effective communication skills to ensure that the necessary information of a project is delivered to the key stakeholders, while keeping projects moving and within scope.
What You Will Do
Translate conceptual ideas into technically feasible solutions and act as the project expert who has an intimate understanding of the entire solutionCollaborate with all VERB internal departments including, Development, Marketing, UX and Creative, on key process efficienciesApply business acumen to uncover web solutions that address clients’ business needsOwn the final deliverable to ensure they are complete and accurate based on the scope of the contractDefine and prioritize requirements for web and/or marketing projects using various needs analysis techniquesCraft requirement documents with technical specifications, functionalities, user stories and/or collaborate on creative brief and marketing strategy documentationManage Kanban and Sprint boards and translate project requirements into tickets within JiraCreate and maintain project schedules, internal and external status reports and risk and issues logsDevelop and deliver end-user trainingHost key internal meetings and lead regular client meetings related to project milestonesPlan and facilitate client workshops and requirements gathering meetingsWork closely with the project sponsor to ensure total service delivery excellence in meeting deadlines and budgetsAct as a client advocate and manage internal communications throughout project life cycleMaintain frequent communication with Project Delivery leadership for escalation, resourcing and budget concerns, etc.Foster and nurture a positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders through punctual, professional, and strategic communicationContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Delivery teamRequirements
1+ years of project management experiencePost-secondary education in project management, marketing, advertising, business, communications, public relations, or equivalent experienceThe following certifications are considered an asset:PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Business Analysis Certificate (ECBA or CPRE)ITIL V3 FoundationDemonstrated experience across a range of digital mediaExperience implementing Agile project management methodologiesExperience developing requirements, user cases, user stories, and/or creative briefsExperience working within a CMS (Word Press, Drupal)Familiarity with Atlassian Suite of products, , Confluence and Jira, with experience managing projects within JiraKnowledge of project delivery processes (Discover, Definition, Design, Develop, Deploy)Ability to help project teams find workable and pragmatic solutionsProven ability to present information to internal and external stakeholders, , hosting workshopsStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environmentWe use automated tools, including AI-enabled technology, to support certain aspects of our recruitment process, such as organizing applications and identifying potential matches based on role related criteria.
