Position Summary:
We are seeking a Technology Solutions Partner (TSP) . The successful trainer/consultant will be supporting the Atlantic region (Halifax, Newfoundland, New Brunswick) Canada Life offices, advisors and firms, in person and virtually.
Our team’s objective is to help maximize performance through technology training and consulting. We deliver comprehensive group or 1on1 training, consulting and support to advisors and firms on the use of new and existing technology. Our team of training & consulting specialists is located across Canada and is part of the Advisor Solutions organization within Canada Life.
Salary Range: $51,400 - $85,700
Accountabilities:
Provide technology training and consulting to advisors and firms, to adopt new technology, grow their business with technology, maximize user efficiency, eliminate obstacles and increase collaborationSupport pilot, implementation and evaluation of business sponsored and project-initiated technology trainingReviews advisor and firm’s technology processes and tools, and consult to offer training and solutions to grow their businessAssist end users with incorporating emerging technology and practices into their businessConducts technology training needs analysis for advisors and firmsIdentifies and communicates best practices for technology training delivery to our head office partnersSupports resolution of technology related issues and problemsQualifications and
Competencies:
Minimum 2 years experience delivering adult training in a wide scope of training content
Classroom or virtual instructional trainingMinimum 2 years experience conducting training needs analysis and/or technology consultingMinimum 2 years experience working in an IT environment
Virtual/remote technology supportMinimum 2 years’ knowledge and use of MS O365 products, Windows 10, Mac operating systems and software, including a corporate technology infrastructureAbility to travel and work flexible hoursEffective presentation, training, consulting and needs analysis skillsExperience in training delivery methodsExperience or knowledge of end user technology, including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, Windows and Mac environmentsAbility to perform hardware and software troubleshooting, using any PC or Mac operating system versionAbility to set up and configure new laptops and end user devicesAbility to quickly learn new technologies, platforms and systemsAbility to adapt to a variety of clients with varying levels of technical knowledgeUnderstanding of basic financial concepts in a financial sales organizationAdapts well to stress and change, managing multiple frequently changing priorities in a dynamic virtual work environment, ability to work under pressure with changing prioritiesDemonstrates excellence in providing customer serviceExercises a great deal of patience, has an open mind and willingness to evolve in the roleBuilds and fosters relationships that support the communication and dissemination of technical and time sensitive informationAbility to work independently without day-to-day supervisionStrong planning, scheduling and organizational skillsSelf-motivated with the initiative to study and explore new opportunitiesMust have reliable vehicle and valid driver's licenseDesirable skills:
