The role’s primary focus is on white space readiness, space and power management, capacity forecasting, and data quality, ensuring the data center estate can safely and efficiently meet business and platform demand. These activities drive and prioritize the delivery portfolio, including optimization initiatives, co-location builds, data centre moves, and workload migrations.
What will you do?

Drive enterprise and regional data centre capacity planning and forecasting to ensure alignment with business growth and technology strategy.

Design and maintain comprehensive, multi-year capacity and delivery roadmaps that support long-term business objectives and technological advancements.

Identify and unlock data centre capacity through targeted optimization efforts, including strategic investments where necessary, to maximize efficiency and scalability.

Implement a unified approach to forecasting and capacity planning.

  • Data Centre Transformations.

Lead end-to-end data centre migrations, consolidations, and site exits, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.

Oversee white space readiness, optimization, and infrastructure delivery, including buildouts and expansions to meet evolving capacity demands.

Ensure core network, server, and infrastructure preparedness to support migration and operational continuity.

Manage workload migration and cutover activities, including weekend and out-of-hours execution, to align with business and technology requirements.

  • Drive enablement and continuous improvement of IMAC processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery across global data centres.

  • Delivery governance, Risk and controls.

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for all data centre delivery outcomes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business needs.

  • Develop and implement governance structures, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms to monitor capacity and delivery execution effectively.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse, globally distributed team, fostering cross-training, skill development, and standardized methodologies to drive consistency and innovation.

  • Embrace a dynamic role that evolves with organizational maturity, increasingly focusing on strategic forecasting, automation, and investment optimization to future-proof data centre operations.

  • What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to apply structured delivery and project management techniques as a capability, not a role identity.

  • Proven stakeholder, vendor, and partner leadership skills.

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity while improving data quality and decision confidence.

  • Flexibility to support out-of-hours and weekend delivery activity.
