Emera's Internal Audit team is welcoming candidates for a permanent IT audit position. Your responsibilities will involve executing assurance engagements, risk assessments, and SOx IT General Controls testing. Collaborate with business IT teams to identify improvement opportunities and maintain oversight of audit deliverables across various jurisdictions, including the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute assurance and advisory engagements for multiple affiliates

• Perform risk assessments and develop audit testing programs

• Conduct SOx IT General Controls testing effectively

• Identify process improvements and drive efficiency

• Monitor remediation of previous audit issues
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field

• Interest in pursuing relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CIA)
